I'll give you more details until then here is the f-100 Now I've been neglecting this for a while things have changed on this plane I'm gonna go through from start to finish of this match.
This is a 7 kill match I'm gonna go start to finish exactly how I fly this plane Now first of all, it really helps to know your strengths and your weaknesses of each aircraft.
What's the f-100 good at? Well, it's really only good at one thing and that's going fast.
It's the fastest allied aircraft that we have so starting out every match I stay on the deck I get up to at least eight hundred nine hundred kilometers an hour and Then I'll start climbing Honestly guys if you don't see that Mach speed indicator and the top left of your HUD, then you're probably going too slow.
So In this case, I know there's nobody coming up behind me I'm gonna throw a missile at this guy just to kind of keep them occupied and I'm gonna survey my scenario.
I See, there's nobody else coming behind me.
I got a little bit of time Mach speed indicators alive again I'm gonna go ahead and dive in and see if I can get some other kills here.
So we come left We're doing very very easy turns this aircraft is better than it first was when I reviewed it about five months ago It still bleeds speed though, and it's not a fast accelerating aircraft It's not like the hunter.
the hunter f6 and the f100 are your biggest threats that you will be facing any allied queue right now You see we compressed a little bit when we get close to Mach but long as you plan out your approach won't be too bad Any of these 9.
0's.

.
they won't be able to go as fast as me So I just convert this this airspeed I have back into some altitude and I'm storing up that potential energy now I'm not turning anymore I'm just doing these this back and forth like this pendulum action, which is the pinnacle of any jet gameplay You don't want to sit there and turn with everybody you turn with everybody You'll bleed your speed with every turn and you're gonna be a sitting duck That is the last thing that you want to do in an f100 So we made our first pass we didn't get any kills.
It's unfortunate, but we're still alive.
We didn't get slow We're back up to altitude.
I see a train of guys coming in behind my Val tour down here So I'm gonna try and drop in on the tail guy the last guy in line That way if I miss him, I got a few others and I don't end up with somebody on my butt inadvertently So try and pop off a couple bullets at him, but I'm compressing and I got this giant mach cloud in front of me And we just barely get him.
Thankfully he blew up right before he could have hit my aircraft.
That was kind of close But I got two more f100s in the distance one breaks off The other one's going he's gonna have a little bit more speed than me.
So I picked the first one Fire off the missile just to make him bleed some energy and we start following into him now.
I'm doing subtle turns I don't want to bleed my speed too soon because I got guys behind me So we're doing subtle turns.
Keep an eye on that Vautour.
He's going below me the rest of these guys They are turning so I'm fairly safe to stick with this guy for a minute Go for another shot, but he's a little bit ahead of my guns I've got enough speed.
I know these guys are slow.
I'm gonna turn back with him We're gonna see if we can get at least one of these F-100 out of the fight right now because they are my biggest threat in this game right now We've popped the missile We get a hit but he flat spins Kill one because he's gonna follow the ground but the worst part of this this is this is This is a gaijin problem right here.
You're gonna watch he's gonna hit the ground and I'm not gonna get to kill This is frustrating at times, but I'm calling that a kill there.
It is really kill number one Got to Vautour coming at me and a head-on got plenty of speed right now We dodged him I could turn for this guy But I don't want to bleed on my speed because I know I got this make seventeen coming in behind me So we just do a subtle turn And we're grabbing a little bit altitude while we make this turn because when I dive back down I can use that altitude To get my speed back.
Remember I said this aircraft doesn't really accelerate that Well, so a little bit of altitude as is the boost you need to get the acceleration to get away I see this Mig-17 pulling up on me I guess he was hoping that catch me off-guard.
Well, it didn't work So we just go up he can't touch me mig-17 Any of the 9.
0's with the exception of the f-86 k and maybe the super Mystere None of the I'm just gonna call him the vanilla 9.
0s, the mig-17 the f-86 sabres They're not gonna catch me in a vertical So I just went up we bled him a little bit of speed but he's gonna get it all back when he dives down As I coming back down I see this other mig-17 coming up He's gonna be low energy gonna be a fairly easy target MiG's they don't have a very good roll rate So they're actually fairly easy to hit in the f-100 because this roll rates pretty bad, too so kill two Mig-17 out of the match.
I've got an f100 behind me.
He is slow I'm not too concerned about him, but I do not want to start turn fighting with him because when you turn fight in the f-100 It's Whale Wars it is literally Whale Wars because these things are big aircraft They pull high alpha the second you start turning and you're anywhere near the guns of another aircraft You are this fat target the size of a barn in Most cases you have to be absolutely blind to not hit an f100 when it's turning in front of you They don't roll.
They don't maneuver that well, and they bleed the speed so At all costs you want to avoid turning in this aircraft.
So we set up we started to turn a little bit early which managed us to avoid that Val tour We don't want to get slowed at the Vautour if you ever watch my vautour video I prove to you that the vatour were can take an absolute Dunk on the F 100 if you start getting it into a slow speed turnfight so This f 100 is trying to run away.
I'm guessing he's got damage or something because he's not paying attention But I always try to go low and then pull off on my target.
He'll try and get a couple shots off on him We got a crit You see I popped my air break just a little bit because I trying to get myself out of that compression zone It's really hard to hit when you're flying at 1, 100 kilometers an hour in this aircraft, so I just popped it enough So I could get my nose on target.
I brought it back in and now I'm flying away this Vautour He's not as fast as me.
He maintains energy very very well.
Kill 3 by the way, not too hard so far, right? so I start my turn a little bit early because I don't want to get caught up in the vautour and then we Go for this head-on with the fj-4 We're gonna miss my shots.
I'm gonna drop my nose grab my speed.
I'm gonna get the hell out of here So at this point, I'm diving to the deck almost supersonic There it is.
I'm free to do whatever I want right now So I know that there is a MIG 17 headed back for the airfield right now I know I've got two guys behind me Both are subsonic aircraft that cannot fly nearly as fast as me the Val tour behind me is a much bigger threat than the FJ is Because the valuer can actually follow me vertical the FJ might turn better, but overall No, real threats behind me.
Just gonna kind of keep an eye on him Just in case I see the other guys landing.
I see I got a kid at the airfield that's gonna try and help me out.
He's the other guy in my squad right now We are the only ones left.
So it's basically just Me I'll be honest.
He really didn't do much this match So I'm pulling up in slight spiral here I'm trying to keep my speed as best as I can and I want to draw it back down on this FJ I want to get rid of the FJ right off the bat So the Vautour is just kind of a nuisance to me at this point So we're dropping our nose.
I'm gonna get a little bit of speed.
I'm gonna drop my nose So I get below the FJ and try to actually use a spotting system to my advantage I don't want him to see me right away but unfortunately, he does and So I'm getting a little bit low on fuel.
So I'm backing off the afterburner I don't want to use as much as I can and at this point he can roll better than me So I'm just waiting for him right there to fly in front of my guns.
I Know I make it look easy Don't don't try to follow them in a turn Just try to to kind of predict where they're going and just land your guns there All right, so he's gone.
It's just myself in the Vautour.
It Mig-17s back to base I ain't afraid to turn with vautour, long as I keep my speed.
I'm fine We made him overshoot.
I try to pull back in but I cannot get the kill and you'll see right here I'm still doing a thousand kilometres an hour.
I'm gonna try to maintain it through this turn but look at the vautour He's just taken off the vautour maintains energy extremely well Mainly because it doesn't turn but it maintains energy extremely.
Well, so don't underestimate it.
It's it's a good aircraft in capable hands But he's gonna lead me straight to the airfield and I can see in the distance There's a MIG 17 taken off from the runway.
I Kind of taunt him just a little bit but I'm not going straight for him I really care more about the bell to her right now that makes 17 until you get some speed.
He's not a threat at all About to her pulls in front of me Not quite enough.
I'm compressing a little bit So we're gonna go ahead and turn with him because I know that he's gonna either way he's gonna pull away from me So take a look off to my right and just make sure that I'm not pulling myself in front of that Mig-17s guns He's still slow.
No problem Val to her still turning.
So he's bleeding his airspeed right now, which is gonna make me right behind him And he's gonna disappear So now what's left is a single Mig-17 and Mig17 should never be underestimated It's a decent aircraft but at this point I don't think he's gonna get enough speed to really be competitive and This other Mig15 is gonna be a bit of a nuisance for him So I'm dropping him behind him, this is pretty much the end of the match this was at one point If you kind of discount this guy it was pretty much a 1 versus 5 scenario and The previous flight model for the f100.
I was never able to carry matches like this and things changed because I I've neglected this aircraft for a long time and I just started flying again a couple days ago and this was my very first match in I Actually kind of liked the plane now.
It's it's a lot better.
It was the aim-9Es work pretty damn good I'm not complaining I actually like this plane right now.
Am I gonna fly it every day? Is it my favorite? No no, definitely not but It's not bad at all You know when when this plane first came out everybody was flying it It was spammed out And with the way the matchmakers been it's it's always been you know, you face your own aircraft And now that there's not nearly as many of them you know, like I say that the hunter and the f100 Against you that that is your biggest threat the 9.
0s really are never gonna be a big threat now the sabers are gonna be a little harder to hit because they They roll they roll very well and they can dodge you very well.
So for things like the saber You want to try and fire your shots From longer distances and you get what I'm saying try to catch them off-guard because most people shoot around 500 to 400 meters if you try shots at like 700 800 meters You've got enough ammo you can spray a little bit and it'll catch them off-guard and that'll be the end of them And so that's what I try to do for for aircraft that are very maneuverable I'll bring you guys a little bit more footage at the end here for now we're gonna go ahead and finish off the mig-17 as You see the f100 pulls really well has a high alpha.
So at slower speeds where it's not compressing It's actually pretty hard to dodge because it can pull really hard at the last second but That guy's gonna go to the ground.
I've got 20 rounds I want to make sure Vito CQ here who unfortunately didn't get a kill the whole match But I want to make sure this is my kill and that is by the scoreboard kill six But I'm calling it kill seven because of that one that got thanks to gaijin So I'm gonna go ahead and include one more match at the end of this and it will be actually against T2 Pretty much an entire team of Mitsubishi T2s.
We've been facing a little bit of axis teams here and there and With a little bit of patience as long as your team doesn't get wiped.
You can actually do pretty good That was a four kill match and that'll be coming up after this.

Me? I don't have any and I'm not that creative I haven't come up with one yet.
So I figured I gave you guys an opportunity So here's the details.
First of all, you guys get to join a discord I'll have a contest channel in there where you guys can go ahead and submit your art Graphics are gonna have to be in digital format.
I don't want pencil work guys.
I want simple graphics something creative it's gonna have to be a minimum of 800 by 800 pixels and that's just so I can have a little bit of clarity in case I want to blow it up or Shrink it down.
And at the same time i'm gonna go ahead and impose four colors maximum And that's just for simplicity.
I don't need any rainbows.
I don't let any fancy things.
This needs to be a simple Simple logo something so that you guys be flipping around and you'd easily recognize that hey, that's Butch's video So today is July 23rd.
I'm gonna give you guys three weeks so as of today Your deadline is August 15th.
That's a little over three weeks giving us plenty of time For now I'll allow you guys to do multiple submissions, but do not use it as excuse to spam Let's limit it to three submissions and that's per artist I'd also like to see you guys at least try and include a W or something in the logo.
So it kind of indicates Hey, this is whoopty-doo Alright, that's it so as promised I'm gonna leave guys with some footage of a t2 match the enemy team was almost entirely T2s and I do apologize because I do have a four-man squad here.
So generally For man squads are kind of frowned upon because you know It doesn't show a lot but these guys are all subsonics and they're fighting against t-too so they are really not in the best of scenarios and unfortunately, one of them goes down early and I'm one of two SuperSonics left to fight the rest.
So I'll edit through the boring parts.
